The self-titled track starts the album off with a very stimulating intro comparable to the THX audio logo that leads into some up beat camp-fire acoustic melodies. There are elements of funk, soul, r&b, hip-hop, rock n’ roll, and just about anything you could think of in All We Need. It has grown on me progressively with each listen. This album truly was a musical journey with an on-going theme of peace, love and equality. I wouldn’t quite compare him to Andre 3000 or Outkast but I definitely hear an influence. In All We Need, this nineteen year old rapper from Atlanta is really changing up Southern Rap with his debut LP. Southern folk indie rap? It’s quite hard to classify Raury into one genre.
